RV A/C Replacement
A/C is necessary for those hot, sun-filled summer road trips in your RV. So if your unit isn’t cooling down your rig like it should, it may be time for an RV A/C replacement.
An RV A/C system won’t last forever, but it should last several years. The lifetime of your A/C unit all depends on how much you use it. Here in North Texas, it’s not uncommon for an A/C to need replacement every few summers (thanks to that relentless Texas heat).
Don’t suffer the heat. Our team can replace your rig’s A/C unit faster than “the other guys.”

Tips for Better A/C Efficiency
Clean your A/C filters every couple of months. Dust and debris can accumulate and cause your unit to work harder to keep up. Rinse the filters in lukewarm water and let them dry fully before putting them back in the unit. While you’re at it, make sure your air return is also clean and clear of pet hair or dust.
Always park in the shade when you can. An RV roof air conditioner can only cool your RV by 20 degrees. When temperatures climb in the summer, finding some shade can be an easy way to compound the cooling power of your A/C unit.
Keep portable fans inside your RV to keep air circulating and eliminate hotter “pockets” of air.
Cool what needs to be cooled, and close off what doesn’t. For example, at night, close off the ductwork in the kitchen and living areas and keep doors shut to redirect cool air to the bedroom. Then, during the day, switch it up so that your living areas are receiving all the cold air.
Use your awning to your advantage and keep it open for DIY shade.
